Cedar Trust is a local company offering
Residential, Nursing and Day Care to
the elderly in the Gloucestershire area.
Established with one home in 1986,
and now expanded to six care homes
providing over 200 beds and a small
complex of sheltered accommodation,
the company continues to provide
quality care across the county.

Our homes in Cheltenham, Churchdown
and Gloucester offer Day and Residential
care, whilst our home in Tewkesbury
offers Day, Residential and Nursing care.
Our sheltered accommodation complex is
linked to the care home in Gloucester.

We are registered with our regulatory
body, the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
to provide personal care and nursing care
for older people.

Each of our homes is run by a qualified
manager who is registered by CQC.
In addition, the company has the benefit
of a Group Care Manager who supports
the managers in their day to day activities
and ensures that the homes are achieving
the quality of care and standards as set
out by CQC. The Group Care Manager, is
frequently in the homes and is always
available to residents and visitors.

Coming into a home is probably one of the
biggest decisions a person ever has to
make, and coupled with the poor publicity
a minority of homes generate, it's hardly
surprising that it is a confusing and
worrying time for all. We hope that our

Provider very seriously, and answer
some of your questions.

Visits to view the homes are welcomed.
Prospective residents are encouraged to
spend time meeting the other residents
and to join them for a meal, so that they
can get a feel for the home.
